Stahl-Skulpturen von Park Chan-Girl (Steel Sculptures, 8 Bilder)
Park Chan-Girl aus Korea erschafft ziemlich derbe Skulpturen aus Stahl. Einmal so wie hier oben, aus Metallscheiben, die durch Stahlbolzen gehalten werden oder so wie weiter unten, komplett aus Schraubenmuttern. Ich finde die erste Variante schöner, ahnt Marilyn:
„Korean sculptor Park Chan-girl constructs metal sculptures from thin metal layers he calls “sliced images” that resemble three dimensional topography charts. He also meticulously welds thousands of small steel nuts into a delicately textured skin, moulding it into human and animal forms.“
