„Melnagai“ – A New Gothic Geisha Mural by Street Artist Fin DAC in Ibiza // Spain

Wer plant seinen Sommerurlaub in diesem Jahr auf der Mittelmeerinsel Ibiza zu verbringen, sollte neben Entspannung und Feierei, unbedingt auch einen Slot zur Erkundung der unzähligen Street Art-Pieces vor Ort einplanen. Zum siebten Mal in Folge fand dort nämlich kürzlich das „Urban In Ibiza„-Festival statt, welches der Insel erneut eine ganze Reihe neuer Artworks namenhafter Künstler bescherte. Wie schon in den beiden vergangenen Jahren war auch die irische Urban Art-Ikone Fin DAC mit von der Partie und platzierte in unmittelbarer Nähe zu seinem letztjährigen „Lallnagai“-Piece, eine weitere seiner bekannten „Gothic Geishas“. Innerhalb von 2 Tagen entstand das neue Wandbild des Iren mit dem Titel „Melnagai“. Einige Aufnahmen davon gibt’s direkt hier unten:
In spite of the fact that only 2 weeks ago he promised he was taking a break from painting, Fin DAC is back at it again… this time on the white isle of Ibiza in the Mediterranean ahead of the 7th edition of the Urban In Ibiza event/exhibition. For the third year in a row he has returned to a favourite place of his to paint: Nagai on the San Juan Road (KM 9.5). He spent just over 2 days filling the last available wall space with another of his graceful Gothic Geishas. He promises this will be his last at this spot… but then we already know he doesnt keep to his promises.
