Gestern wäre James Yancey aka J Dilla aka Dilla Dawg 44 Jahre alt geworden. Aus diesem Anlass veröffentlicht Remix- und Mashup-König Amerigo Gazaway eine Reihe von Remixes, „The Anthem“ ist hier nur der Anfang. Hier seine offizielle Ankündigung:

„Happy birthday to the one and only James Yancey aka J Dilla. This is the first in a series of Jay Dee inspired remixes/reworks I’ll be releasing over the next few weeks in celebration of #DillaMonth. Stay tuned!“
