Wir sind gerade über die Seite von Aaron Checkwood gestolpert: Der Journalist und Fotograf aus Kalifornien macht seit 15 Jahren beeindruckende Bilder – nicht nur von Surfern und Wellen, sondern auch auch von besonderen Spots in Kalifornien und ausgewählten Persönlichkeiten. Seit fünf Jahren arbeitet er unter anderem als Bildredakteur für das preisgekrönte Magazin TransWorld SURF, brachte letztes Jahr den limitierten Bildband My Oceanside als Hommage an seine Heimatstadt heraus und hat die halbe Welt bereist. We just stumbled over the talented Journalist and Photographer Aaron Checkwood. He is based in Oceanside, California and travels around the world to take impressive pictures of surfers, waves, landscapes and anything that catches his attention. Also, he is a photo editor for the award-winning TransWorld SURF magazine and last year he created and published My Oceanside, a limited-edition book with images from his beloved hometown.
