Aminé spielt mit Band live beim NPR Tiny Desk Concert
Nun tut nicht so, als würdet Ihr Euch nicht an den XXL Freshman Class 2017-Rapper Aminé erinnern, dessen Album „Good For You“ wir Euch im Sommer vorgestellt haben!?! Jedenfalls ist ebendieser jüngst beim NPR im Tiny Desk-Bereich gewesen und hat wie schon so viele vor ihm dort ein kleines, exklusives Konzert gegeben. Drei Songs aus diesem Debüt-Album („Spice Girl/Carolina“, „Slide“ und „Wedding Crashers“) hat er mitgebracht und mit diesem lüdden (aber großen!) Auftritt entlassen wir Euch ins Wochenende – habt ein Schönes!

But that hasn’t kept him from becoming the hip-hop artist with the hardest-to-pronounce name of the moment. (…) Despite openly criticizing Donald Trump during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the closest that Aminé — a son of Ethiopian immigrants — came to making a political statement here was a funny aside about the imposing gate in front of the White House.
