Ayumn, auf diese Pladde hatte ich ewig gewartet und auch wenn ich um Urlaub bin, den hier muss ich bringen: die Oberseelen von BamaLoveSoul haben gestern ihre seit langer Zeit angekündigte Compilation „On Deck“ veröffentlicht. Und wenn ich Euch sage, dass ich mich da schon so lange drauf gefreut habe, dass man hier mit classic Soul-Samples gearbeitet hat, dass es sowohl Instrumentals als auch Vocal-Tunes gibt und Euch dann noch Feature-Acts wie Ta-Ku, Tall BLack Guy oder Freddie Joachim nenne – dann sollte das ja wohl reichen, oder? Inspired by old vinyl albums that were consistently listened to from beginning to end, the BamaLoveSoul crew will release their first official compilation June 26. Contributing artists check in from Alabama to Austria, providing „On Deck“ with 10 well crafted tracks by musicans from all around the globe. The album contains vocal and instrumental tracks that range from jazzy soul to funky broken beat and even spoken word!“
