Guckt doch mal:
I’m Christo, I started my communication design school in 2014. After graduating, I was sort of bored with design work. Because a graphic designer usually makes a work for the benefit of others (just my opinion). One day, I found interest in seeing people who have outstanding digital art skills. He makes artwork on the basis of his will, his passion, his honesty, his imagination, and his personality. That’s why I started to learn about the world of digital artists. Why did I choose surrealist artwork? Inspiration came when I saw a surreal collage artwork on Fajar P. Domingo’s instagram. His work is very precise with my personality. Because of him, I found many collage artists and digital surrealists on Instagram. I see that surrealist artwork is a freedom of imagination. Surrealists show who you really are. I started to study what is surreal artwork. There I found outstanding artists of the past such as Salvador Dali and René Magritte who until now are my inspirations. By continuing to practice self-taught for months, I finally found my style. After four times change my artwork style to be accepted by the public. Some of my previous styles have not reflected my character and still tend to bandwagon. So I change my daily routine. I often go out walking or cycling at 3 am just for inspiration. Sometimes inspiration comes from music and movies. (My favorite is Wes Anderson’s film). Until now, I am still productive to create my artwork. But, I also use my design skills for the benefit of others. I believe everything in the world is art. It depends how you look at it. – Christo Makatita
