Part 4 („System Failure“) der besten Doku über die Remix-/Mashup Kultur, die ich bisher gesehen habe: Everything is a Remix. Ein fast anthropologischer Blick auf dieses Phänomen, denn wie die Evolution zeigt, wurde immer schon kopiert, modifiziert und kombiniert – erzählt das mal den Pro-Acta Kulturpessimisten. Unbedingt gucken, selbst wenn Ihr die anderen Teile (Teil 1, 2, 3) noch nicht gesehen habt:

Our system of law doesn’t acknowledge the derivative nature of creativity. Instead, ideas are regarded as property, as unique and original lots with distinct boundaries. But ideas aren’t so tidy. They’re layered, they’re interwoven, they’re tangled. And when the system conflicts with the reality… the system starts to fail.
