Handbook – „Botanicals“ (Free Mixtape)
„Botanicals“ ist das neue Release von Handbook, den wir ja gerade auch erst auf der „Ten Million Sounds„-Compilation hatten und den ich auch schon einmal in einem Vlog gefeatured habe. Auf diesem Album gibt es sechs neue Instrumentals von Handbook, dem UK-based Beatsmith, die er selbst als „organisch elegant“ umschreibt und die von klassischer Musik inspiriert sind. Es gibt natürlich wieder Samples, aber eben auch Piano-Sequenzen, Gitarrenspuren, sogar Flöten kommen zum Einsatz. But there’s still bass, so no worries.
