Es gab da mal eine Zeit, da gehörten CDs von Donnell Jones, Mary J. Blige, Angie Stone, Joe oder (sogar) R. Kelly in das CD-Regal im Schlafzimmer, das war so 2-3 Generationen nach Sadé. Jetzt sieht’s da etwas anders aus, auf die Fragen nach aktueller Bedroom-Bangern [sic!] würde ich glaub‘ ich sowas wie The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, BJ the Chicago Kid, Georgia Anne Muldrow oder Lee Fields antworten, so spontan. Oder aber auch: Jeremih! Der reiht sich m.E. nämlich ganz gut in die Reihe der New R’n’B’ler ein, die logische Weiterentwicklung von „Your Body’s Calling“ oder so. Features kommen von 2 Chainz, Twista, Sir Michael Rocks, Faboulous, Natasha Mosley, YG & E40, produziert wurde das Mixtape von The Fr3shman, The Futuristics, Mike Will Made It (again!) oder Jeremih selbst. Namen auf jeden Fall merken – Player, Video zu „Go To The Mo“ (Achtung, derbe NSFW!) und DL-Mirror nach dem Jump:
