JID performt live mit Band beim Tiny Desk Concert // Video
Genau in dieser Minute veröffentlicht: JID, der ja gerade sein neues Album „The Forever Story“ veröffentlicht hat, war live in NPRs Tiny Desk Studio (alle gefeatureten Künstler hier).
Ich werde mir den Auftritt heute Abend in Ruhe angucken, wollte Euch nur schon einmal informieren. Weitere Infos kommen später, checkt jetzt erst einmal das Video. Edit: Ich hab’s hesehen und es ist sogar noch deutlich besser als erwartet, weil die Band einfach so gut ist. Die Musiker sind Najinga Luster und Rashida Chitunda als Hintergrundsängerinnen, Teja Lanier Veal am Bass, Grady Housworth an der Posaune, Allan Knighton am Saxofon, Michael Cruse an der Trompete, Samuel Williams an den Keys und Divante Davis an den Drums. Und natürlich JID als Frontmann, Rapper und Sänger.
