Pharrell Williams in „Tokyo Rising“ (Palladium Documentary)

IT’S ON! Hier ist endlich die komplette Palladium-Kampagne „Tokyo Rising“, mit Pharrell Williams als Host! Der ist nämlich in seine Lieblingsstadt gefahren und begibt sich dort auf große Entdeckungstour. Wie immer in den interessanten Palladium-Dokus (Johnny Knoxville in Detroit, Odette Annable in L.A.) machen sich die Moderatoren, in diesem Fall also Herr Williams, auf die Suche nach versteckten Schätzen, nach interessanten Einheimischen, die für Interviews bereitstehen und die etwas über die Geschichte ihrer Stadt – quasi aus dem Nähkästchen – erzählen können. In Tokyo natürlich doppelt interessant zu erfahren, wie die Leude jetzt nach der nuklearen Katastrophe aus dem März des Jahres drauf sind. Pharrell knows best – viel Spaß:
„Palladium’s core message is about urban exploring and putting your boots on to find out what’s beyond the tourist guidebook,” said Barney Waters, vice president of marketing for Palladium. “Tokyo is one of the great cities of the world and we felt there was a whole layer of the city’s story that wasn’t being told in the aftermath of the natural disaster of 3/11. We wanted to go back and see for ourselves how the young creative class was dealing with the aftermath, and what their vision was for the vibrant future of Tokyo.“
