New Shag! Hier ist „Really This Time“, das inzwischen sechste Beattape von dem jungen, aus Denton/Texas Produzenten, der für seine smoothen, soulfullen Instrumentals bekannt ist. Auf „This Time Really“ hat er ein paar neue Beats und Remixes zusammengesammelt, die in den letzten Monaten entstanden sind. Shag sagt, dass dieses Werk hier eine schöne Ãœbersicht darüber ist, wie er sich als Musiker und als Mensch in den letzten Monaten weiterentwickelt hat und ja, im Vergleich zu seinen ersten Tapes wirkt „This Time Really“ wesentlich reifer. „A lot of these beats have been sitting around the past couple of months so I figured it would be a good idea to compile everything together. I didn’t realize I had a lot of these finished! This doesn’t detract from the final product though. I’ve been in a constant state of mind the past couple of months and it is reflected in the songs, their melodies, and any sample selections I chose. It was nice to get everything together and out there to see how I’ve been changing and progressing as a musician and as a person on a deeper level.“
