„Skinny Cap Thief“ – A New Mural by Street Artist Lonac in Bristol // UK

Am vergangenen Wochenende versammelten sich diverse Größen der internationalen Urban Art-Szene im Südwesten von England. Zelebriert wurde in Bristol das legendäre „Upfest“ aka Europas größtes Streetart & Graffiti-Festival, zum mittlerweile siebten Mal. Neben dopen Künstlern wie beispielsweise Telmo Miel, Martin Ron oder L7M, nahm auch der „Photorealistic Maestro“ aka LONAC aus Kroatien an der Veranstaltung teil. „Skinny Cap Thief“ so der Titel des herrlichen Murals, welches der Mann aus Zagreb am Old Bookshop, 65 North Street in Bristol hinterließ. Lonac recently spent couple of days in Bristol, taking part at their 2015 edition of annual Upfest festival. Escaping the rainy weather he quickly worked his way on the scaffold finishing this beautiful mural just on time.
Titled „Skinny Cap Thief“ the mural is a clever combination of his impressive hyper realistic skills and love for graffiti. Depicting a huge squirrel that’s collecting spray can caps instead of nuts, it is beautifying the facade of The Old Bookshop @ 65 North Street in Bristol. Pretty minimalist in colors used, it blends perfectly with the burgundy background, with a great sense for usage of architectural elements.
