Nicht dass Ihr denkt, Terrace Martin lässt uns über die Weihnachtsfeiertage allein! Hier ist “Village Days”, ein perfektes Album für den Moment, wenn Jeff Bezos die Amazon-Pakete (praktisch als Geschenk eingepackt mit maschinell gedruckter Grußkarte) zu dem Fest vorbeibringt, an dem sehr viele Menschen den Geburtstag eines frühen Gerd Postels feiern.

Es gab so einiges vom Terrassen-Martin in diesem Jahr, u.a. “Dinner Party” zusammen mit Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper und 9th Wonder (Juni 2020), er hat Leon Bridges’ “Sweeter” produziert, im Mai hat er “Conscious Concversations” gedropt, im März “Sinthesize” – sieht nach einem pickepackevollem Jahr aus, ich nehme an, er hatte Time. Es gibt sieben Tunes, Features kommen von Dinner Party, Gray Area, Alex Isley, Kent Jamz, Nick Grant, Rexx Life Raj, The Pollyseeds, Zyah Belle, Chachi und Wyann Vaughn. Gute Musik!
