The Creative Process Behind a Typographic Mural by Ben Johnston (Pics + Timelapse Clip)

Der in Toronto/Kanada ansässige Designer, Letterer und Illustrator Ben Johnston hat sich kürzlich die Räumlichkeiten einer Bürogemeinschaft seiner Heimatstadt vorgenommen und den glücklichen Mitarbeitern vor Ort ein dopes Typografie-Mural zur Motivation an die Wand gezaubert. Zum Inhalt seines 5,80 x 3,30m großen Artworks hat sich der 26 jährige eine Ferris Bueller-Weisheit genommen, welche gar nicht oft genug zitiert werden kann: “Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look once in a while, you could miss it”. Toronto-based Canadian letterer, designer and illustrator Ben Johnston has teamed up with Asterisk Media to produce a making-of video for a typographic mural he has created for Project: Rhino, a network of shared offices. Featuring a quote by Ferris Bueller, this striking black and white mural is done entirely with paint and markers—it reads, “Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look once in a while, you could miss it”.
