Urban Double Exposure Photographs by Doug Keyes (12 Pictures)
Financial District, New York
„From the ubiquitous buildings of corporate chains to temporary car wash signs and monuments of long forgotten war heroes, each image is part of a larger Collective Memory project that attempts to answer the question: How do we know what we know?“
Ground Zero, New York
La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona
Louvre, Paris
Opera Garnier, Paris
Highway 101, Oregon
Boston Commons, Boston
New York Harbour Lights, New York
Duomo, Florence, Italy
International District, Seattle

Dear, Doug Keyes
My name is Bryony Rooney and I am currently studying A2 Photography at St Malachys High School, Castlewellan Co. Down Northern Ireland. I am writing to you as I have found your wonderful work to be very influential and helpful to the project I am currently studying, Abstraction in the Landscape. I am currently researching and writing my dissertation and I would greatly appreciate it if you wouldn’t mind taking some time out of your busy schedule to answer some questions regarding your outstanding work to help me with my dissertation. I would like to get your insight into photography and the techniques you use in your work. I think your double exposure buildings are really beautiful and I found them very helpful when doing my own photoshoot. I am curiuos about how you achieve these types of images and what manipulations you use. I have really enjoyed researching your work as it is very beautiful and I would like to include some of your work in my dissertation as well as transfer some of the qualities of your work into my own. Thank you in advance for your help and support, I look forward to hearing for you in the near future.
Yours sincerely
Bryony Rooney
