„Vinyl Love“ – Street Artist Richard Wilson spendiert der Bronx ein bezauberndes Mural

Unser Mural des Tages zum Start in die neue Woche stammt vom britischen Künstler Richard Wilson und lässt sich seit Anfang Oktober in New York City bestaunen. In der Nähe des St. Mary’s Park im nördlichsten Stadtbezirk des Big Apple aka der Bronx entstand sein großformatiges Stück Wallart. Portraitiert wir hier eine junge Dame aka DJ KAMALA in urbanem Outfit vor einem Turntable beim Ausleben ihrer „Vinyl Love“. Ebenfalls zu sehen, ein kleine Auswahl von ikonischen Platten-Covern. Ein Mural, welches nahezu perfekt mit dem Ort seiner Entstehung verschmilzt. Just have a look + Enjoy:

I came to NY for 3 days to got to Eol Soulfrito boat cruise on the Hudson and try and find a wall to paint. @catscoffeecreativity put me in touch with @501seestreets (yes Noah!) and with wall owner @jefffox18 and i didnt go home but stayed to paint. I called @kamalamuse and did a quick photoshoot in her NY apartment, we clicked straight away, the SL-1200 is hers, the records in her collection are wow! A Proper DJ, thanks Kamala you were literally perfectly beautiful inside and out and i’m so grateful you were down. Ive had the best time ever here, being in Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn ive seen a side of NY thats made me fall in love, its so special. To leave a piece of me in the place that made the art i love and the music i love is very surreal and so special to me. Ive been welcomed here like family, new friends! – Richard Wilson
