Als das neue Westside Gunn Album „Pray For Paris“ Mitte April rauskam, hab‘ ich’s natürlich gehört und war auch komplett down damit, habe es aber aufgrund der Rona-Situation erst einmal auf die Seite geschoben. Ich hoffe, ihr sehr es mir nach, weil: das Album ist natürlich schon ein Brett. Sowieso, Griselda, was passiert da gerade, der Hype scheint nicht enden zu wollen. „WWCD“ war ein absolut ehrwürdiges Shady-Debütalbum von allen Griselda-Mitgliedern Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher und eben er hier – Westside Gunn.

Jetzt hat WG gerade ein Dual-Video zu zwei Songs des neuen „Pray For Paris“-Albums veröffentlicht, es geht um „Euro Step“ und um „No Vacancy“ und ich nehme das einmal zum Anlass, auch endlich das Album zu featuren. Es verfügt über 13 Tracks, die Features kommen von Conway, Benny, Wale, Joey Bada$$, Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, Alchemist, DJ Premier, Boldy James, Joyce Wrice, DJ Muggs, Daringer, Beat Butcha, Conductor Williams und Jay Versace. Dope!
